2007-2008 Fishing Regulations: To assist Wisconsin Anglers here are the different regualtions depending on location and fish.

Do you need a fishing license in Wisconsin? Check out who does and who doesn't need one and the different types on the Wisconsin DNR'S website today. Licenses can be purchased from your local sporting goods store or on line.
If you purchase on line you can even print right from your computer!

Visiting? You can buy a non-resident license: Annual, family annual, 4 day, 15 day or 15 day family

License Discounts available for the following: Junior, Husband/Wife, Senior, Disabled, Disabled Vet, and Armed Forces

Boating Safety and Regulations: Boating is just as important when it comes to fishing and there ARE rules and regulation's about   who can drive and operate a boat. Many do not know, in some cases a certificate is required!

A Wisconsin Safety boating certificate or out of State certificate is required if you were born on or after Jan 1, 1989 and at least 16 years old.

12-15 Must have a certificate or an adult on board while operating.

Kids 10 and under, can take the boating safety course and receive the certificate but the certificate does not become valid till they are 12.
